The Night Hospitalist RN assesses, plans, and manages patient care during hospital stays, focusing on discharge readiness and care transitions.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care per regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, including occupational cases.
Collaborates with the nursing team to develop and execute patient care plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
Ensures compassionate, competent care for patients, families, and referring facilities.
The role requires safeguarding sensitive health information, adhering to privacy regulations, and working within legal and institutional policies.
