The Night Medical/Surgical Hospitalist RN assesses, plans, and manages patient care throughout their hospital stay, focusing on discharge readiness and care transitions.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs procedures, and documents treatment per regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop patient care plans and guides ancillary staff to maintain professional standards.
