This Night shift Medical/Surgical Hospitalist RN role involves assessing, planning, and managing patient care throughout their stay, focusing on discharge readiness and transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing primary and emergency care.
Collaborates with the care team to develop and execute patient care plans, guiding ancillary staff and ensuring high standards of nursing practice.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, valid RN license, BLS certification, and preferred prior nursing or PCA experience.
Requires knowledge of quality improvement principles and the ability to enhance job performance through continuing education.
