Job Description
The Registered Professional Nurse assesses, coordinates, and manages patient care throughout the episode of care, focusing on progress toward discharge and transitions within the hospital stay.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Evaluates patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the nursing team to develop a Plan of Care and guides ancillary staff, maintaining professional standards.
