Job Description
The Registered Professional Nurse in the Medical/Surgical Hospitalist department assesses, plans, coordinates, and manages patient care to ensure timely discharge and smooth care transitions.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop and follow a comprehensive Plan of Care.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
The role requires handling sensitive information under strict confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
