This role is for a Registered Professional Nurse in a Medical/Surgical Hospitalist department working day shifts in the US.

  • Salary ranges from $68,640.00 to $70,699.20, with hourly rates between $33.00 and $33.99.

  • The nurse assesses, plans, directs, and manages patient needs throughout their care episode, focusing on discharge progress and care transitions.

  • Responsible for coordinating patient care delivery by the caregiving team, ensuring compassionate, competent care across inpatient, ambulatory, and community settings.

  • Nurses participating in the Nursing Professional Advancement Pathway (NPAP) can advance from novice to competent within their specialty.

  • The role involves handling sensitive information, with strict adherence to privacy and security regulations, including HIPAA, ensuring access is limited to “need to know” and protected from unauthorized disclosure.
