Job Description

This role is for a Registered Professional Nurse in a Medical/Surgical Hospitalist department on a day shift with a salary range of $68,640 to $70,699.20.

  • The nurse assesses, plans, directs, and manages patient care throughout the episode of care, focusing on discharge planning and transitions within the acute stay.

  • Responsible for coordinating patient care provided by the caregiving team, ensuring compassionate, competent care for patients, referring facilities, and staff across inpatient, ambulatory, and community settings.

  • Participation in the Nursing Professional Advancement Pathway (NPAP) allows nurses to progress from novice to competent within a specialty.

  • Role requires adherence to confidentiality and data protection policies, ensuring access to sensitive information is based on a “need to know” basis.
