Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Neuro Progressive Care unit provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, using sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Administers medications as prescribed and collaborates with the team to develop patient care plans.
Supervises ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
The role may require handling sensitive information in compliance with privacy regulations, ensuring access is limited to necessary information and protected from unauthorized use.
