Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Neurosciences & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) works night shifts to provide compassionate patient care.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop individualized Plans of Care and supervises ancillary staff.
Maintains a caring environment by demonstrating kindness and active listening.
The role requires handling sensitive information securely, adhering to privacy standards and regulations.
