Job Description
The clinical Nurse in the Neurosciences & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) works night shifts, providing compassionate patient care and collaborating with the team.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, and performs treatments and tests, documenting all procedures.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, using sound nursing judgment for management decisions.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Administers medications as ordered and collaborates on patient care plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
The role requires handling sensitive information per privacy regulations and ensuring data security.
