Job Description
The clinical Nurse in the Neurosciences & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) provides compassionate patient care, demonstrating kindness and active listening.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments and tests, and documents care per regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Administers medications as ordered.
Collaborates with the team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
The role may involve handling sensitive information, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy laws.
