Job Description
The clinical Nurse in the Neurosciences & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) provides compassionate patient care through kindness and active listening.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and tests, and documents all activities.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop patient care plans and guides ancillary staff.
Ensures professional standards are maintained and adheres to relevant policies and regulations.
The role may involve handling sensitive information, requiring strict confidentiality and compliance with privacy laws.
