This Night shift Medical/Surgical Cardiac Hospitalist role involves assessing, planning, and managing patient care throughout their hospital stay, focusing on progress toward discharge.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting care.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Evaluate patient needs and responses, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provide primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborate with the nursing team to develop a comprehensive Plan of Care.
Guide ancillary staff and maintain professional nursing standards.
The role requires ensuring compliance with privacy and confidentiality policies, with access to sensitive information on a âneed to knowâ basis.
