This Night shift Registered Nurse role in the Medical/Surgical Cardiac Hospitalist department involves assessing, planning, and managing patient care throughout their stay, focusing on discharge readiness and transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting care according to regulations.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Provide primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop and follow a plan of care.
Direct ancillary staff, ensure professional nursing standards, and deliver compassionate, competent patient care across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
Work may involve handling sensitive information, with strict adherence to privacy regulations and minimum necessary access.
