Job Description
This RN role in the Medical/Surgical Cardiac Hospitalist unit involves assessing, planning, and managing patient care, focusing on discharge progress and transitions within the care episode.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing primary and emergency care.
Collaborates with the care team to develop and execute care plans, directs ancillary staff, and ensures quality patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, with preferred prior nursing assistance experience.
The 29-bed unit serves adult patients with cardiac and medical diagnoses, requiring telemetry monitoring post-procedures.
This night shift position offers a salary range of $68,640 to $70,699.20.
