Job Description
This Clinical Nurse role in Hematology/Oncology involves assessing, coordinating, and managing patient care throughout their stay, focusing on discharge planning and transitions.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders and interprets diagnostic tests; assesses patient needs and responses.
Applies sound nursing judgment in care management, providing primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to create and follow a Plan of Care; guides ancillary staff.
Requires a nursing degree, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and preferably previous nursing assistance experience.
Must demonstrate continuous learning, quality improvement knowledge, and adhere to confidentiality standards.
