Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Cardio Pulmonary Surgery department works night shifts, assessing, planning, and managing patient care throughout their stay, focusing on discharge readiness and care transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing primary and emergency care.
Collaborates with the care team to develop patient care plans, guides ancillary staff, and ensures professional nursing standards.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, with preferred experience as a PCA or in nursing assistance.
Must demonstrate ongoing education, quality improvement knowledge, and adherence to confidentiality and privacy regulations.
The role offers a salary range of $68,640 to $70,699.20, with an hourly rate of $33 to $60.93.
