Job Description
This role is in a 17-bed Coronary Care Unit serving adult patients with severe cardiac issues, including those with devices like Impella and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, procedures, and documenting care according to regulations.
Evaluate and interpret diagnostic tests, assess patient needs, and apply sound nursing judgment for care management.
Provide primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop and execute patient care plans.
Guide ancillary staff while maintaining professional nursing standards.
The position requires access to sensitive health information, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
