Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Post Cardiothoracic Surgery unit provides comprehensive patient care throughout the hospital stay, focusing on readiness for discharge and care transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and assessing patient needs.
Collaborates with the team to develop care plans, guides ancillary staff, and ensures high-quality, compassionate care across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma, associate or bachelorâs degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience.
Requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of quality improvement principles.
This role may involve handling sensitive information, with strict adherence to confidentiality policies.
