Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Post Cardiothoracic Surgery unit works night shifts, assessing, coordinating, and managing patient care throughout their stay, focusing on discharge readiness and transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing primary and emergency care.
Collaborates with the team to develop care plans, directs ancillary staff, and maintains professional standards.
Qualifications require a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
The role involves handling sensitive patient information, adhering to privacy regulations.
