Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Post Cardiothoracic Surgery department provides comprehensive patient care during hospitalization and transitions, ensuring quality and compassionate treatment.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, and documents care.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop and follow care plans, guiding ancillary staff.
Requires a nursing diploma or degree, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
The role may involve handling sensitive information, requiring adherence to privacy regulations.
