Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the General Pediatrics department provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment in both primary and emergency situations.
Collaborates with the team to develop care plans and guides ancillary staff to maintain professional standards.
Requires a nursing degree, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential. The role involves handling sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
