Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the General Pediatrics department provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Administers medications as ordered and collaborates with the team to develop care plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains nursing standards.
Minimum qualifications include graduation from a recognized nursing program, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, and strong communication and organizational skills.
The role involves handling sensitive information with strict confidentiality according to policies and regulations.
