Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in Vascular Surgery assesses, plans, and manages patient care throughout their hospital stay, focusing on discharge readiness and care transitions.
Provides coordinated, compassionate care in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, and evaluates diagnostic tests.
Collaborates with the team to develop and follow individualized care plans.
Requires a nursing diploma, current RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Preferred experience includes nursing assistance or similar roles.
Must demonstrate knowledge of quality improvement and adhere to confidentiality regulations.
The role involves caring for patients with complex vascular conditions, including amputations and wounds, with ongoing education provided.
