Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in Vascular Surgery assesses, plans, coordinates, and manages patient care throughout their hospital stay, focusing on progress toward discharge and transitions.
Provides compassionate, competent care for patients with complex conditions like amputations and vascular wounds.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, and interprets diagnostic tests.
Collaborates with the team to develop and follow a Plan of Care, guides ancillary staff, and ensures quality standards.
Requires RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and relevant nursing education.
Preferred experience includes nursing assistance.
Ensures compliance with privacy regulations and maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
