Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Vascular Surgery unit assesses, plans, and manages patient care throughout their stay, focusing on discharge readiness and transitions.
Provides patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Collaborates with the team to develop and follow individualized care plans.
Ensures compassionate, competent care for patients with complex vascular conditions, including amputations and wounds.
Maintains professional standards, guides ancillary staff, and adheres to regulatory requirements.
Requires RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and relevant nursing experience. Continuing education and knowledge of quality improvement are encouraged.
The role involves handling sensitive information in compliance with privacy regulations.
