Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Infectious Disease Med/Surg Unit provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, and performs treatments and tests, documenting according to regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, using sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop patient Care Plans and guides ancillary staff.
Requires a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, and current RN license.
Must hold BLS/ACLS certifications, with 1-3 years of Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential.
