Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Infectious Disease Med/Surg Unit provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment for management decisions.
Offers primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop patient care plans.
Supervises ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
Requires a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, and a current RN license.
Must hold BLS and ACLS certifications with 1-3 years of clinical Med/Surg or Progressive Care experience.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential. The role involves handling sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
