Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Infectious Disease Med/Surg Unit provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating patient conditions.
Assesses and interprets diagnostic tests, collaborates on care plans, and directs ancillary staff to ensure quality care.
Offers primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, applying sound nursing judgment.
Must have a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, and certifications in BLS/ACLS.
Requires 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, along with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ensures compliance with privacy regulations and maintains secure handling of sensitive information.
