Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Infectious Disease Med/Surg Unit provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, and performs treatments and tests, documenting as required.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop a Plan of Care and guides ancillary staff.
Requires a nursing degree, current RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Ideally has 1-3 years of Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience, with strong communication and organizational skills.
The role involves maintaining patient safety, quality standards, and protecting sensitive information.
