Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Infectious Disease Med/Surg Unit provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop patient care plans and guides ancillary staff.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS/ACLS certification, 1-3 years of clinical experience, and strong communication skills.
Knowledge of quality improvement principles and problem-solving tools is preferred.
The role requires handling sensitive information responsibly and ensuring data security.
