Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Infectious Disease Med/Surg Unit provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Assesses and evaluates patient needs and responses, applying sound nursing judgment.
Offers primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop care plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
Requires a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
The role involves handling sensitive information with strict confidentiality and adherence to policies.
