Job Description
The Registered Professional Nurse in the Secure Unit (C3W) works day shifts assessing, coordinating, planning, directing, implementing, and managing patient care throughout their stay, focusing on discharge readiness and transitions within acute care.
Responsibilities include delivering and coordinating compassionate, competent care for inpatients, outpatient, and community patients, and supporting the caregiving team.
Nurses participating in the Nursing Professional Advancement Pathway (NPAP) must progress from novice to competent in their specialty and may advance to proficient or expert status.
The role involves ensuring patient safety, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA and other regulations, with access to sensitive information based on a “need to know” basis.
Salary ranges from $68,640.00 to $70,699.20, with hourly rates between $33.00 and $33.99.
