Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Medical-Surgical unit provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents accordingly.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Offers primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering medications as prescribed.
Collaborates with the team to develop patient care plans and guides ancillary staff.
Qualifications include a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience.
Strong communication, organization, and quality improvement skills are essential.
