Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Medical-Surgical unit provides compassionate, patient-centered care, supporting patients, families, and colleagues through kindness and active listening.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and tests, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment in care management.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop and implement patient care plans and guides ancillary staff.
Qualifications include a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, and strong communication and organizational skills.
The role involves sensitive information handling and adherence to privacy standards.
