Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Medical-Surgical unit provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and assessing patient needs.
They interpret diagnostic tests, evaluate patient responses, and make sound nursing judgments.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, collaborates with the team to develop care plans, and guides ancillary staff.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organization, and quality improvement skills are essential.
The role involves maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information and adhering to all regulatory guidelines.
