Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in Elective Orthopedics provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, using sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop a Plan of Care and guides ancillary staff.
Requires a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Must have strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
The role involves handling sensitive information per privacy regulations and maintaining confidentiality.
