Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in Elective Orthopedics provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, using sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Administers medications as ordered and collaborates on patient care plans.
Directs ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing degree, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, and strong communication and organizational skills.
The role involves handling sensitive information with confidentiality and adherence to privacy regulations.
