Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in Elective Orthopedics provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, and documenting care.
Evaluates diagnostic tests and assesses patient needs and responses.
Uses sound nursing judgment for patient management and provides primary/emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop a Plan of Care and guides ancillary staff.
Requires a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Minimum 1-3 years of RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
The role involves handling sensitive information securely according to privacy regulations.
