Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the General Surgery/Trauma department provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
They assess patient needs, make sound nursing judgments, and provide primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborate with the team to develop care plans, direct ancillary staff, and maintain professional standards.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential. The role involves handling sensitive information with strict confidentiality and adherence to privacy regulations.
