Job Description
The Emergency Department RN provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness, contributing to a supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, and documents care according to regulations.
Evaluates diagnostic tests, assesses patient needs, and applies sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop and execute patient care plans, and guides ancillary staff.
Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience.
Strong communication, organization, and quality improvement skills are essential.
The role involves handling sensitive information in compliance with privacy laws.
