Job Description
The Emergency Department Night Nurse provides compassionate, patient-centered care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound judgment in care management.
Offers primary and emergency treatment for injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop and implement care plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential.
The role requires adherence to confidentiality policies, including safeguarding sensitive health information.
