Job Description
This Night shift Emergency Department RN role involves providing compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Assessing patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment, and managing emergency and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and execute patient care plans, guiding ancillary staff, and maintaining professional standards.
Requirements include a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, and strong communication and organizational skills.
Must adhere to confidentiality regulations and ensure information protection per HIPAA and state laws. This role emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork, and professional excellence.
