Job Description
The Clinical Nurse provides compassionate care in the Emergency Department by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs, interprets diagnostic tests, and applies sound nursing judgment for care management.
Delivers primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop and execute care plans.
Supervises ancillary staff, maintains professional standards, and documents treatments accurately.
Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current NYS RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Must have 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, with strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills.
