The Clinical Nurse in the Emergency Department provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.

Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, and documents care according to policies and regulations.

Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.

Assesses patient needs, responses to care, and applies sound nursing judgment.

Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.

Collaborates with the team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.

Must have a nursing degree, valid NYS RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.

Requires 1-3 years clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, with strong communication and organizational skills.
