The Clinical Nurse in the Emergency Department provides compassionate patient care through kindness and active listening.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and tests, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment in decision-making.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, administering prescribed medications.
Collaborates with the nursing team to develop patient care plans and guides ancillary staff to maintain professional standards.
Contributes to creating a caring environment for patients, families, and colleagues while recognizing each employee’s valuable role.
