Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Emergency Department provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Assess and evaluate patient needs, respond to care requirements, and use sound nursing judgment for decision-making.
Deliver primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop plans of care.
Guide ancillary staff, maintain professional standards, and document treatments accurately.
Requirements include graduation from a recognized nursing program, current RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills are essential.
This role involves handling sensitive information in compliance with privacy regulations.
