Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Emergency Department provides compassionate patient care, demonstrating kindness and active listening.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment for management decisions.
Provides primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
Administers medications as ordered and collaborates with the team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Supervises ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
The role may require access to sensitive information, with strict adherence to privacy and confidentiality policies.
