Job Description
The Clinical Nurse provides compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department, administering medications, performing treatments, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs, applies sound nursing judgment, and collaborates on care plans.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
Supervises ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
Requires graduation from a recognized nursing program, current NYS RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care preferred.
Demonstrates excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of quality improvement principles.
The role involves handling sensitive patient information in accordance with privacy regulations.
