This clinical Nurse role in the Medical/Surgical Hospitalist department involves providing compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Administers medications as ordered.
Collaborates with the nursing team to develop patient Care Plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
The position requires ensuring sensitive information is protected per privacy laws and policies.
